DUMAI – rapikotadumai.or.id/ – Dalam dunia komunikasi radio, kecepatan dan ketepatan penyampaian informasi menjadi faktor penting, terutama saat digunakan dalam kegiatan sosial kemasyarakatan, bantuan komunikasi kebencanaan, hingga koordinasi kegiatan masyarakat. Salah satu standar komunikasi yang masih digunakan hingga saat ini adalah Ten Code, yaitu kode angka singkat yang mempermudah penyampaian pesan secara efektif di udara.
Bagi anggota Radio Antar Penduduk Indonesia (RAPI), penggunaan Ten Code bukan hanya sekadar metode komunikasi, tetapi sudah menjadi bagian dari budaya operasional dalam setiap aktivitas komunikasi radio. Ten Code membantu anggota menyampaikan informasi penting secara cepat, jelas, dan mudah dipahami oleh seluruh anggota jaringan komunikasi radio, baik dalam kegiatan net rutin maupun saat melaksanakan tugas bantuan komunikasi kepada masyarakat.
Fungsi Penting Ten Code dalam Komunikasi RAPI
Ten Code digunakan untuk:
Mempercepat penyampaian pesan
Menghindari kesalahpahaman komunikasi
Menjaga disiplin komunikasi radio
Membantu komunikasi saat kondisi darurat
Menstandarkan bahasa komunikasi antar anggota
Dalam kondisi darurat atau kegiatan Bankom, penggunaan Ten Code terbukti mampu mempercepat koordinasi antar anggota di lapangan.
RAPI TEN CODE (KODE SEPULUH) yang selalu digunakan dalam berkomunikasi sama anggota RAPI untuk menyingkat sekaligus menandaskan sebuah Informasi maka perlu adanya sebuah pemikiran tentang sandi atau ringkasan baku (kode ) yang disepakati untuk semua anggota:
